Everyone ages. If you sell yourself based on beauty and youth then eventually your product expires. If you sell yourself on something less superficial that has more depth then that seems to last a lifetime. It's not that women aren't allowed to age, it's that many women have nothing to offer except their looks and body... If you stopped focusing on fashion, make up, and youth and became intelligent, funny, very talented in a number of interesting areas, had very strong character, loyalty, honestly, many different useful skills, made a decent living, etc. then you'd be marketing yourself on many different levels, not just on your body. The reality is that men just have a better product than most women with many different features, and most women don't put in the effort to be a better person.

If you develop yourself as an interesting person, then people will enjoy spending time with you and will want you in their life until the day they die. If you feel like you can't age, that's because you never developed as a person.

in many cases people on both sides don't take care of themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and financially as they age which causes them to lose value as time goes on.

but girls tend to mature faster then guys so they end up burning out faster if not maintained. also in many cases girls have an easier time to naturally producing children before age 40. meaning guys seeking parenthood likely go for younger healthy girls in their 20s. so they have time to build a relationship with them instead of rushing things. considering a health guy can produce children up to the day he dies. while most guys don't start to earn the required income to support a family until 30+.

in most cases yes guys older then 40 have a harder time fathering children. but it is still possible to some degree if they maintain a healthy life style.

however many guys also don't start making the required income to help support a family until they are roughly 30+. which is why many seek out girls 3 to 10 years younger then themselves if they desire to start a family.

Some women CHOOSE to dye their hair, get botox, boob jobs, and all that other fake looking crap, but I don't expect them to do that. I would actually be relieved and feel less pressure if more 40 year old women just let their hair get kinda grey, and leave their faces alone. Because men aren’t known for being attractive at young ages. Beautiful men are seen as the more older males like brad pitt, Tom cruise, Johnny depp, Chris hemsworth, all older men. Women are beautiful when they are young. When they get older they are always replaced by other younger girls. There are always beautiful women. Older women just aren’t as attractive.

The answer to your question is... Mother Nature. The purpose nature intended women to serve is different than the one it intended men to serve. Men and women are attracted to each other because of those purposes. We can't change our genetics.

In actuality though it is just biology. When in a hunter gatherer situation, men seek youth and fertility in women so they have good offspring. Women seek competence and confidence in men. That's why men find young women attractive and women find older men attractive. No one chose it, it's how we were built.
