Then they don't have families, dating costs them nothing because men are still expected to pay and then they get work remotely and travel for fun.

I don't chat with them, I hit block after seeing that on their profile, even if they are super hot.

For chat starts I don't expect much, anything I want to know should be on her profile bio, so if it is, and all she says in chat at first is "hi", or "how are you" I still respond.

I think those are perfectly fine ways to start a convo, to the point where if a woman mentions on her bio that she won't answer guys who start conversations with those, I block her too, because she's an idiot.

Wait... that's fine for starting a convo. The point is, if you don't lead said convo at every and any turn, they will let it die, because they are unable to come up with any words beside the "hi" "how are you?" pair, except for replies to what *you* will say.
And you have to say things in a form that invites a reply, otherwise there still is a fair chance they will quit talking.

Also me just assuming here:

Girls on dating apps, who would write that and make it some “trending thing-” could possibly be using that to seem “athletic” in their own way. (Like they “get out,” and such).

It can also mean they are into a guy who would have a decent piggy bank 🐷 (or likes to travel too.. if she really does travel and affords that frequently).

If they’re all writing “simple.” It could be she’s trying to show the guy she’s down to earth, not bouchée- or whatever that word is 🤣.

It could be a ‘fake,’ as some people (let’s be hopeful here) USED* to do, and then some will just be honest, mean it, and actually live their lives like that.

I never been on a dating site, so that’s just my “floating-in-the-wind” guess 😂

I've met a ton of them. It's really hard to find one thats single and in the US though without settling for one thats barely out of highschool. I really don't understand why most millenial US women hate gaming, science, sci-fi and anime so much. :c

The ones I met i played video games with, its very common in US teens to enjoy those hobbies, but the ones my age (who aren't famous and getting paid for streaming/cosplaying) are the rarest of unicorns unless you go to east Asian countries like japan, china, or south korea where this sort of thing is way more popular in adults.

A lot of the time i just feel very discouraged, like I find one or 2 my age in the US every few years, but she's always taken... ._.

Well they failed miserably then, either of those on a profile makes me immediately hit the block button, because yes, it is annoying.

Wanderlust means she can't settle down anywhere and thus isn't relationship material, and saying she is simple just makes her sound boring.

Filters don't work. I tried to weed out all of the guys that scored as having low impulse control in their chemistry results, and so few results showed that they still showed me guys with low impulse control.

9 times out of 10, when something goes from niche to trendy, the quality of it gets heavily watered down to cater to people who used to hate it. So in a sense, at least for people who like niche things, yes, trendy is very bad.
