I got pulled over twice by the cops when I was really drunk. Once it was after a blizzard and the snow banks were so high I didn't see the Stop sign or the cop car. I pulled over and just rolled down the window a half inch and slipped my license and registration through the crack. The cop let me off with a warning. He had no clue I was drunk. A few months later I was pulled over for a broken tail light. I did the same thing and the cop gave me a card that I had to have a garage fill out saying I got the taillight fixed then he let me go.

Experimenting with various drugs in my late teens and early 20s.

Having sex with underage girlfriends when I was in my teens.

Smoking weed for over 30 years, even at work. For me, it felt like mixing work with pleasure. I never got in trouble. My friends and I smoked when going places in the car and when doing just about everything. I even smoked on rides at Disneyland.
I finally quite 20 years ago when I got married and moved.

@Guardian45. Kinda, yeah. But I was 13 when the "summer of love" was happening, and I was 15 when Woodstock happened. Hard rock music was becoming more prevalent when I entered high school. So I as too late for the actual peaace-love hippie thing. It was over by the time I got to high school, even though the ideals and attitudes were still prevalent.

I was a guitarist, though, and was heavily influenced by the music of the 60s. When I began high school, I started playing rock music with garage bands and evolving toward being a rocker. I was also a surfer. I liked cars. The kids who were referred to as hippies liked me. So I was a surfer, hippie, rocker. All of those had similar fashions and attitudes, ... and they all partied.

I once injured somebody unintentionally and it led to new enemies and public bullying but I was never arrested or sued or fined. I wonder if God saved my life that day cause it was an unhealthy environment and the bullying made me leave.
