What should I expect during a talking stage?

I've been talking to someone for a week now and I've never really been in one before, so im not completely sure what i should expect fully with this

Just enjoy the dating experience. Don't expect anything. Do not be pushy and do not be too passive either.

If he is being nice to you, be nice to him. Reciprocate him. And don't complicate things by being manipulative. Being manipulative is one of those things that can go either way. It can back fire very badly, or it could help matters but if it is helping matters, you have another question to get through. Is the guy genuine or is he simply doing what you want or expect from him because it is the easiest way to get in your pants.

Also remember, just because you are getting a lot of attention, doesn't mean it is good attention.

Other than that, enjoy dating and think of it as not too different from making friendship.
