It would depend on the circumstances. Why is she a single mom? Did she make some poor choices but repent?

    Was she raped?

Is she coming out of a cheating or abusive relationship?

I would at least try s date to see how it goes. There is plenty of men who aren’t able to handle a single mother. Nothing bad on them. They’re being honest.

But you don’t want to judge too fast. Because you don’t know the situation.

If she was promiscuous. Probably wouldn’t date her or at least not for long once I found that out.

Eh, it would truly depend on her situation with the father and her current life situation. If she’s got a good career/ job with goals and the relationship with the father isn’t toxic then I might be open minded.

The problem with single moms for me, is they often dont want anymore kids, and I want kids of my own. Additionally, single mothers almost always have a traumatic experience with their children's father, that they usually don't have the time or the resources to seek therapy and heal from. So by the time I date her potentially, she's calloused and masculine, because she's had to survive with her kid on her own. Not to mention how busy she is with her kid. While I understand it, and can't blame them, the truth is most of them just want support, not love.

hell no. Im not gonna take care of kids who ain't mine. Plus its a sign of a bad girlfriend or wife. women who are single mothers have something wrong with them and there's a reason why there single. 70 percent of women initiate most divorces which makes us think women initiate most breakups because they can't handle a relationship.

This is analogous to playing a video game, being presented with the option to play on easy mode or hard mode, and selecting hard mode. Except, the difference is, when you when the game on hard mode, it's acceptable to tell others of your feat and receive praise for your acknowledgment. However, when you date a single mom, regardless of a positive outcome, you still looked at like poorly from other men.

Longs if I don't get committed to parent roll. I don't really like kids so if somehow my interaction can be less sure so a mother who has a teen already maturing who don't really need a random father to come into it that would be more likely.

Depends. If we have good history, then yea I definitely would. Like I knew for a long time from work, school, or having a mutual friend.

Any other single mother, hell no. I wouldn't even give them the time of day.

It wouldn't be impossible but I would highly get turned off and get discouraged if I learnt that a woman I liked is a single mother.

I’m just trying to get an idea of what it would be like if a single mother wanted to date.. I wanted to see what kind of options, if any she would have.
