We are two months into being in a relationship. He works with me but in a completely different department. We hardly see each other but we do take our break together. So in a sense I do see him everyday. We go on dates every Saturday but it's always dinner and a movie. There isn't much to do in my town or his. But I feel bored and have actually put off seeing him today. I don't feel good but still I don't mind not seeing him today. A month ago, he was texting this girl (she sent nudes and was flirting with him) and was entertaining it even though he didn't send nudes or flirt. But since then, I backed off emotionally and don't want to get too close. I also have depression and anxiety so I don't know if all of this is because of that. What's happening?
+1 yI think what you are going through is normal. When a guy shows red flags ESPECIALLY in the beginning, it shows that right from the beginning something is off. I think he just doesn’t know how to treat his girl yet, which isn’t his fault. Everyone is different when they’re younger. I think maybe you don’t like confrontation, or don’t know how to stand for what you want and deserve, which can cause anxiety and depression. The good news is, I feel like the anxiety and depression you’re facing isn’t a physical part of you, it just comes up with the situation you’re facing, so that’s good. I’m guessing you’re pretty young, which means there’s so much time for you and so much more you can see in this world! Everything will work out for you sweetheart, shoot for the moon, or the stars, or both ;).

+1 yWell... You are working it out, but communication is key in everything. You should explain to him what it bothering you plain and simple like black and white. Men tend to not think of things the same way as women do so black and white no grey otherwise it might not go over so well. Maybe try going for walks in the woods? Mix it up, dinner and movies gets old but he needs to be spontaneous. Relationships have to be exiting, like make blind fold you to a surprise etc... Keep in mind that you have not said if you lived together?

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yMaybe he’s not a good match for you. Sometimes we don’t realize that until we are actually in a relationship with the person and seeing how they behave as a boyfriend vs how they are as you build up to the relationship. It also doesn’t help that he was being unfaithful in the first month, to your knowledge he wasn’t sending her anything back but if he entertained her to where it got the that level then who knows what he said in order to save his ass a bit. Now that the trust was broken so soon, I’d leave him.

You're not bored. Your gut instinct is telling you that this guy is NOT the one for you. Listen to it and end things before you get hurt.

He mentally cheated on you. If he was already in contact with another girl chatting for a month and yeah I get it it was her sharing nudes apparently your boyfriend “didn’t” send her nudes ( like delete button exist if you aren’t aware) etc still counts as abnormal to me.
You are not tired of your boyfriend
You lost RESPECT for him. To me that’s what love is about. Your boyfriend isn’t a toddler to not tell another women to stop contacting him and not sending him nudes and whatever.. so In a way your eyes don’t shine bright when you see him but rather a.. petty like wtf is wrong with this dude.
That’s why maybe you don’t know how to express it in better words and you are expressing it but saying you are now -tired - of him. It’s like yourself your inner self knows you can do better.
Same as you know when you get tired of a job or tired of being fat something you know it’s time to
change that shit. Something like this.50 Reply
u +1 ySounds like you’ve emotionally withdrawn from him because he mentally cheated on you, you’ve lost respect for him, and the honeymoon phase could’ve ended aswell which puts a more serious tone on your relationship. If it’s only been 2 months, it’s not too late to break up and move on.
20 ReplyAll these people that use terms like “cheated” are brainwashed. All of this is socially constructed to keep people in line. Woman get bored because they are hypergamous. Men become boring because they stop trying once they are where they want to be. You don’t keep racing after you get to the finish line. Woman need to be more of a challenge to keep a man, and men need to be less nice to keep a woman interested. If you tret them “too well” they start looking around. If “she” thinks she is better than you, she loses respect.
Also, any “man” that sends nude photos of himself to a woman has really no idea what woman want. Woman don’t want to see your junk. The biggest whore you know, doesn’t care about seeing your junk. They aren’t wired that way.20 ReplyIf you are bored, just find another boyfriend. There are lots of boys so it is easy to find a new boyfriend. That's what I do. I change boyfriends every month or two. After all, who wants to the same boyfriend. I think it is fun and exciting to find another cute boy.
10 ReplyThis guy isn't the one for you (& quite frankly if he's fishing for nudes from women while he's in a relationship, I don't think he's the right guy for anyone who wants to be monogamous).
Anxiety & depression don't force your partner to do anything. He's demonstrated that he's willing to step out on you, so either accept that, stay with him (& don't complain about it) or leave his a$$.
00 ReplyBecause media teaches women that the Ideal man would put her first
When he does not do that and especially if he is entertaining other girls u get put off because this is not what u were promised as a girl growing up.
That makes u really question whether u actually even want this relationship in the first place?
Why did u want to be in a relationship? Clearly u are not getting what u wanted so dont bother wasting time and look for someone else.

You do this. You need to fix this by opening up about your anxiety/depression flaring up to safe this relationship.02 Reply- +1 y

+1 yTwo months in and getting nudes from another woman... Is he really your boyfriend or do you want him to be your boyfriend?
You sound like you're tired of the relationship already but I don't believe your communication is strong. Express your needs and desires00 Reply - 6.4K opinions shared on Dating topic.
+1 yIt sounds like you've gotten into a pattern of familiarity with one another. Everything is the same and predictable. That's why you're both bored. You need to sit down together and do a vision mapping session. Talk about your future goals and dreams, but also talk about the goals and dreams you have for the present, for your relationship. Be creative. Think outside the box. You need to regain the spark and regain the FUN!
10 Reply yeah it's good that you're emotionally shutting yourself out of the relationship because although he didn't message her back, he should've blocked her
20 Reply547 opinions shared on Dating topic. best bet is end it but in the workplace keep it professional in passing as in saying "good morning" and keep going on with your day. paycheck is more important than stress, anxiety and ppls self induced issues. I'm not telling you what to do but just offering an opinion. hope All goes well 😃
00 ReplyOnly you can answer that sit with yourself and face it it's ok if it is defecult and annoying and frustrating but I need to to sit with yourself and ask yourself the question why am I getting tired of my boyfriend

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yUltimately it's because there 2 things that make a woman unhappy.
1) Getting what she wants.
2) Not getting what she wants.
This is why I simply do not bother with relationships.

the fact that he filirted with other girl is more reason why you should dump him

2. You're bored because he doesn't put effort into you because he's not interested. His effort is being put towards another women.

You emotionally withdrawn and your anxiety and depression kicked in as well as you suspecting him of cheating
- +1 y
@NerdInDenial - no he DOES NOT love her. He was flirting & entertaining another woman BEFORE her anxiety, etc kicked in. Learn to read, you'll seem slightly intelligent then.
- +1 y
@BlackBeauty90 she doesn’t love him either. Who knows when her anxiety and depression actually kicked in. It could have been a result of a past trauma. Both he and her not loving each other can occur at the same time. Stop trying to act smart.

Aye aye captain.
- +1 y
@NerdInDenial - love has NOTHING to do with anxiety & depression. If anything that she may just love him & finds that the LOSER is entertaining another woman can make such factors WORSE. It is what abusive partners who use a "doormat" girlfriend or boyfriend prey upon - they'll fuck everyone in town & will always have the anxious depressed "doormat" as a fallback partner.

@BlackBeauty90 you’re going off on a tangent; why don’t you comment this “analysis” on your opinion section? My original comment is still correct.
