this may seem kind of stupid to say, but I really feel so bad.
We started dating 6 months ago, and he was the sweetest guy I could ever met, even before dating. But every girl he liked, he followed them on instagram. But like, it was CRAZY. He had 500 followers but followed 1,200 and those were just girls. He even followed accounts of models and asked sometimes “what’s the name of this girl? she’s hot” and we were being dating for 3 months. When I noticed that, I asked him why he did that and he said “I follow them bc they’re pretty” -I was like ok? then what am I, crap?- so I told him please stop following them bc I felt bad. Those girls weren’t necessarily models or actresses, he even followed random girls he found in the comments...
So I forgave him, but in a month ago he continued following more models and girls, and we argued again. And then he unfollowed them, saying he made mistakes.
and now, when he sees pictures of beautiful girls he follows, he says “you’re not as pretty, but I love you bc your personality”. I’m always saying he’s the cutest, the best... like EVERYTHING.
I can’t trust him anymore. What can I do?
