I’m 14 and looking for a relationship, how do I appear attractive?

I’m 14 years old and I feel like it’s time for me to be open to relationships, plus I would really like a boyfriend.
I’ve liked one guy so far but I was being very clingy around him, so I doubt he likes me back.
I want to seem attractive for men but I’m not willing on drastically changing my personality, what do you think would make me seem more attractive?
I’m a very social person that likes being around people and I have some attachment issues.

the answer is in the question itself. "appear" as in appearance.

you're only gonna attract who is attracted to you and it may not be one you're attracted to but you could attract someone who you're less attracted to or not attracted to.

Be yourself. Why would you want to advertise as one thing you're not and then have to keep up the ruse for the rest of your life to keep him interested in you? Eventually, he'll discover you're not what you pretended to be and he'll end up rejecting you. Be who you are and hope that a guy will get interested in you FOR that/those reasons. Just make sure he's what YOU want, too!! This door swings both ways!

it’s not something you can just correct though, I’m clingy because I’ve had issues in the past so I cling onto the person. I’ve tried correcting it, but it never works
