Girls, Will you find it weird that a guy volunteers in animal shelters (where most others are women)?

I get some irk comments from people about it. You are a guy doing this and stuff. Giving vaccines, wiping and cleaning, and rescuing stray cats, and dogs.

All others are women. I grew up with a lot of pets and am particularly good with them.

I wander if it can be a turn off in dating as it's seen as feminine by most people I know.

Last I checked volunteer work didn’t have set genders. There’s nothing wrong with volunteering at animal shelters if it makes you happy. It’s not something I could personally do but I don’t see it as a bad thing.
