Why men that seem interested whether online or in person never do anything to make the first move? Do they expect the women to make the first move?

If it is the first move like asking me out on a date, I reserve that move. I don't like when women do that. But if it first move like she writes down and passes me her number, I am totally down for that.

That’s very interesting. I understand your point of view. I totally agree with you as you want to feel like a man asking the girl out. In circumstances where a girl would for example if it’s on Instagram Dms you hi or compliments as a way to get your interest or in person approaches to say hi or start a conversation would that be considered ok as a women as normally it’s considered for a man to do all these things.

Yes, that way! I want to know I am not offending her so that style of flirty initiative helps. She touches my arm and laughs at all my corny jokes and I know I'm in. Or she passes me her number and I know I'm really in. My way makes it difficult to even distinguish what is the "first move" but I do benefit from bolder women.

But for dating, I like to plan everything, and pay for everything (I should because I planned everything; she is my guest and I am her host, and a good host doesn't charge the guest). She messes up my whole thing if she asks me out on a date. What am I supposed to do then? RIde along with her and follow her around while she pays for everything and drives me everywhere? What kind of man am I supposed to be and how am I supposed to show her that I'll protect her and do my share living together if I'm in the passenger's seat?

I agree, it’s hard and risky at the same time as you don’t know what could happen. I Just thought it’s easier for young men than young women as l thought the men are more confident.

I agree but almost all of them come off with that type of behaviour that show interest but don’t do anything. It’s frustrating
