Advice Needed please?

The father of my youngest son told me he loved me last night. He was drunk. He is usually a very closed person with thoughts and feelings so it caught me off guard. He also told me I've grown on him as well and he is super affectionate. Just a quick history recap, we started off as friends with benefits and I ended up getting pregnant. We had our differences and disputes but we have been amazingly coparenting so in a sense everything started off a bit backwards. Should I take what he said with a grain of salt or should I believe him? I'm so confused. I'm happy but at the same time scared. I felt with a domestic violence relationship 7 years ago but I'm working on my triggers and bettering myself for me and my future.

It's always says the when the person drunken they always speak from their hearts as at that time their brain activity is zero. So I prefer that you should accept his proposal whatever he said last night. Maybe he behaves rudely with you but shown you the other side of him.

Sounds like he really care about you. I hope it works out. Happy for you. Try couples counseling, that could possibly also help you work through your triggers. Individual counseling too.

Guys tend to be more open and speak the truth when drunk. My guess is that he cares about you and the child you have together. Only you can decide how sincere he is. I'd at least give him a chance.
