Is delaying replies for hours without a legitimate reason, a reason to break up in a LDR?

I've told my boyfriend that it bothers me several times, and he refuses to change. Before it wasn't like this, but it looks like he's making that a habit now.

Well, if he's not willing to change after you've told him that it bothers you seems like he's not willing to cooperate or make that effort. Sounds like a deal breaker. I would consider breaking up.

I think 2 things Here. 1. If he's intentionally doing it (and I'm not saying he is) the it's probably best you break up with him if it'll make you happy. And 2. If he's not doing it intentionally then you're nitpicking and harassing him over something he doesn't know he's doing and in which case you'd probably both be happier broken up.

When I had a LDR we wrote letters. It used to take days. I think expecting somebody to drop whatever they are doing nd text you back is unrealistic.
