Who cares about age difference? dies it really matter?

What would you do if your son in his mid 20's brought home a lovely girl whom you later found out was only a few years younger than yourself? Does age really make that much of a difference in a relationship? What about family thoughts? What do you think your fam would say or do?

In general, age does matter because people are in different stages in their life. In your 20s you're still trying to figure out who you are and the world. In your 30s you're trying to figure out your career and family. In your 40's you're becoming financially stable, etc. While there are certainly cases where large gaps in age work out, the vast majority don't in the long term.

I know many people in their twenties who are more financially stable than 40 year olds.

Statistically speaking, the largest factor that determines wealth is age. The older you are, the more likely you are to have more wealth. It's simply a fact.

As long as their are both concentin adults being judgmental won't change that they are banging.

They are just worried that two people with that big of an age gap tend to not stay together seeing as they are at different stages in their lives and probably have different interest, goals and lifestyles.

It matters if that person is under 18. But minors can date minors, adults can date adults. Adults should never even consider dating a minor.

They are both adults. Late twenties and the gal looks very young but is not. She is about twenty years older. They look about the same age
