Can someone be too "perfect"?

My best friend has trouble dating; every time a guy breaks up with her, they use the same excuse. "You're too perfect for me". It usually happens after a month of dating. She showed me the conversations she had with 6 different guys and they literally use the same exact phrase. If it was coming from only one guy, I would think it's just an excuse, but this is coming from literally everyone she dates. She is a great girl, so I truly don't understand what the problem could be. How can someone be too perfect? Is being "too perfect" a code for something else?
