Saw my crush on bumble. I didn’t swipe either way, but now I can’t find him. Now what?

Hi there. I’m having a real dilemma. So I saw my crush on both tinder and bumble. I did swipe right on tinder, but I’m sure he doesn’t go on there a bunch. So I was told to just ask him out. I did, and he said he was talking to someone. Okay fine by me, but after about a month and a half I download bumble and come across his account. I didn’t swipe, I just got out of the app and then reopened it about 15-20 minutes later and now I can’t find him. We did come up as people you may know on Facebook, but I didn’t touch that one. I don't know, did I miss my opportunity or maybe he just doesn’t want to try it at this time. By the way I don’t see him anymore as I moved jobs so I’m just curious what everyone thinks.

I am not familiar with the apps that you listed. Perhaps his accounts on both apps are not accessed a whole lot. Is there a chance that he got a notification from the one app that someone viewed his profile and then he deleted the account? Meaning that he had forgotten all about it until you ran across his profile?

That is just a pure guess by me not being familiar with how those apps notify users. I think that the important thing is that he had told you already that he was talking to someone. That, to me, is a signal that he is not interested right now.

I would not count on dating site app status as a key to whether he is interested in you or not. Like any app, people forget that they are on them and don't update or deactivate those. Just because he still had an account doesn't mean that he is looking to date.

If you pay for bumble it will show you who swiped on you. If he's isn't in your beeline then he either isn't interested or just isn't current on the app.
