He really liked me back in August 2023 but couldn’t be with me because he was In nuerology residency and he had no time. I guess I’m wondering is there a chance I might see him again and for things to change? I do see a neurologist but not often and he’s not a dr just a resident

You don’t lose anything by reaching out, so if you do then it’s no big deal. However I probably wouldn’t for a few reasons. One, he may have just been letting you down easy and gave you an excuse. Not saying that he isn’t busy with school, I just know that if you were the right woman, he’d have made you a priority regardless of his schedule bc he didn’t want to lose you. He’s only going to get busier and have more responsibilities, none of that is going anywhere. Therefore he’d have to learn how to juggle work and family, which so many men willingly do for the right woman. Your guy didn’t even want to try.


Secondly, what’s stopped him from reaching out if he’s done with school? He said you weren’t the problem and if he were being honest and school was truly the only obstacle then what’s stopping him from saying something now? So while no there isn’t a problem with reaching out, I think how he’s handled things is very telling and you’re better off being patient for the right guy to come along.

I’m not sure tho I know it was almost 2 years ago and I don't know if he’d remember me all I remember in the last message he sent is that he said he promised it wasn’t me and that’d I’d been amazing ❤️ and he used to tell me I was the perfect woman for him

The "It wasn't me" line would worry me, back then. When I was younger, I said it, had it said to me, but truthfully, we make mistakes or say things we don't really want to, because of we feel in the moment. I had a couple girls reach out to me a few years after after I ended the dialogue (for whatever reason) and I was so happy they did.

At least to me, it's something you say when you are looking for a way out, without being mean. As I stated. Im not saying he wasn't being honest, and he may appreciate you reaching out as I said. At least if you try, you'll find out and act accordingly.
