Is it too late to reconnect with a guy you kind of rejected a year ago?

One day last year I was at the club with my friends and I met a guy there who also went to my university. We hit it off and made out all night on the dance floor. It was like a dream. He said he'd seen me around on campus before and we exchanged numbers. The thing is...one of my friends has a slight crush on him and I knew all about it, yet I still went for him. That night I left the club with him. The next day he tried to contact me to ask if I wanted to get lunch with him. Partly because I was afraid of entering into a relationship and partly because I felt bad for my friend who had a crush on him, I declined (kind of rudely) and cut off all contact with the guy. Now it's almost a year later. I recently realized that he was sincere and really liked me, and he wasn't the player I thought he was. I am wondering if it is worth it to reconnect with him, even though he is graduating soon. Is it too late? I don't want to regret anything.

If you are really interested, humble yourself, cop to some kind of personal epiphany, and hope he's a fan of self-effacement. Guys are amazingly forgiving sometimes. Then again, he could throw it right back in your face. Remember regret is usually confined to the stuff we didn't do... not the stuff we did (we just feel dumb about that stuff). This is a perfect example.

it's never too late to try! I'd contact hgim and explain about your friend having the crush on him. He should understand that.

He might be with someone now, or getting ready to graduate, and not looking for any relationship...but you won't know unless you try, will you?

It's still not late. It will only be late if he's already away and there's no chance you will be seeing him again.
