I'm not sure I don't look at guys profiles. But I can tell you that's true of most women on dating apps. Any guy who's used a dating app for any length of times learns all the tricks women use. 1. The overhead shot to accentuate her cleavage and minimize her belly. 2. The lying on the bed for many reasons, sex, nullify gravity, etc. 3. The dark lighting to minimize her homeliness. 4. The all shoulder on up pic if she's just of significant girth. 5. Pics 20 years. Old.🤣🤣🤣 It always amuses me how EVERY 40 yr. Old woman on a dating site has discovered the fountain of youth. 6. And if she's so much of a train wreck that none of these tricks can save her. Then she just uses a catfish Pic.

I don't think dating apps are doing either men nor women a favor tbh. A lof of people look way better in real life. Also, there's chemistry and body language and a lot of things that are involved in attraction that you can't really asset on a dating app.

I think it depends on the person. Some people use older pictures. I've also heard that people will take pictures a certain way and then when you've finally met them, it's like a whole different person. Lol
