Guys would you prefer to love an older woman or a younger woman?

This is a touchy subject, so I'll attempt to be graceful about it.

I always liked girls and women 2 - 3 years older than myself going back to high school. I still kind of do. If they've taken care of themselves, I think women peak at about 35 lookswise. And, I've always gotten along well with women of my mother or grandmother's generations. I didn't like 18 - 19 year olds even when I was one.

The issue with women as they hit their 30s is their attitudes. *Many* become bitter and jaded due to failed relationships and wasted time. They get all serious and treat dating like a job. Going to dinner or out to town feels more like an interview than a date. I know one woman who is still as friendly now as she was in her late teens (former classmate). I'd still be willing to date her if she weren't taken. She is a rarity, though.

Another point: feminine grace and ladylike presence do not age. When you meet a more mature woman who has that aspect, she's still very enjoyable to be around. I know of one woman (mother's friend) who is 42, and - again - were she single, I'd love to date her, even without any potential sex involved. This is because she's classy, smart, and sweet. Someone you'd want around just for her company.

All this said, my simple requests for a woman is that she be sane, mellow, friendly, and kind. I have not found these traits in most older women who weren't taken (recall what I wrote above about feminine grace). As such, my decision narrows to who treats me well and who is nice to me. That treatment tends to come from women in their early to mid twenties, and I'll go where I'm wanted and appreciated.

So, to answer your question: I'd say that 25 is probably the perfect age for me with some leeway in either direction. 22 is still a little immature, but I'm not hard opposed to it. Late 20s are fine. I don't have any interest in 18 - 20 year olds except for one extreme example where the girl is almost my exact match in personality and interests.

So, for me the youngest I ever dated was 10 years younger and the oldest was 2 years older. So, for mem like 90% of all the women I have dated they have all been within 4 years of my age... and most of them less than 2 years.

So, I guess you can say I like younger women, but honestly, I feel like I like women of my own age. Like seriously out of all the women only 1 in 10 have been more less than 2 years of my age. My current girlfriend is 4 years younger than me... but i do not count her as being a younger woman, 4 years is not that much.

Preferences and standards. Is what it comes down to. All guys are different and so are women frankly.

If a woman is over child bearing years let’s say…. A lot of younger guys probably wouldn’t.

I have a preferred age bracket that includes a couple years older, but within that bracket, age isn't really a factor.

The best women I ever dated were a couple years older than me at the time. It was largely because they were much more down to Earth and had a more mature perspective on life.

Preferably younger than me, doesn't have to be a lot. Could even be days. The reason for this is that I've learned in life that more often than not that people will see you a certain way if they're older than you. I don't know this could be my own trauma from my older sisters.

I would prefer someone my own age. But younger is fine, because I would feel comfortable in my role as the leader. If she's older, she would probably be the leader, and that would probably be weird. I wouldn't feel confident as a man, and she would probably be annoyed that she is dating a little boy.

At my age now I'm preferring an older woman because I'm at the stage of my life where I'm past thinking about having kids (never been a dad) and would be happy with a partner who hasn't had kids either and feels the same way.

Maybe it's because my mom is 1 year and 24 days older than my dad and they've been together 35+ happily, that I prefer an older woman, but keep in mind, it's only one year and 24 days. Do you think it would be equally as successful if she was 5, 10, 15 or even 20+ years older than him, and if she was that many, why do you think he'd have gone after her/her go after him?
