Intelligent women is it difficult to find a man for you?

I wonder if you find men that are less intelligent and they become self conscious or if you can only date with men as intelligent as you are.

I don’t consider myself intelligent. Simply because of the fact that I have ADHD (and bipolar) and most times can’t even verbalize any knowledge I have because I forget what I’m talking about mid sentence. Typing, and in my head I know a lot but I just can’t express it any other way. Possible brain damage as well. But I am dealing with an intelligent man currently and I’m afraid I look like a bimbo. I would say it isn’t hard for him to find women because of his knowledge. Me personally, I let my money talk and some of the men I was talking to in the past were intimidated by that because they were always broke and had no assets.

So I’ll say, I’m dealing with my first legit intelligent man (two degrees and high IQ) and he intimidates me because of that and because of how successful he is financially.

I had this conversation months ago with a patient of mine. How I find it difficult to find intelligent men despite being in shape & not someone who dresses revealingly, etc. And I am quite intelligent.

As example the one time I spoke with an "intelligent" man he got insecure / jealous and proceeded to tell me he had 3 degrees in relation to my 2 & that he had multiple businesses but for the life of him could not explain what those businesses were about

You are either intelligent or not. Lying makes anyone undesirable even if they had an outstanding IQ of 198 & graduated from university with a Masters at age 16.

That was some serious insecurity right there. I would say business men rely a lot on confidence to get their work done.
For me it doesn't make sense people lying if they're intelligent or not. If one is and the other is not you will be bored. The hard part is if someone's confidence might get affected by it.
As an intelligent men, sometimes I'm afraid she is more intelligent than me specially if she's on the same field. But that only happens if I doubt myself. I can't date seriously someone that can't have a good conversation with me.
Anyway, not dressing revealingly is a plus because they will focus more on what you say than what you look. However if you have a good body, it's always very nice to know somehow, so having a picture with some cleavage on insta might help.

I would consider myself averagely intelligent. I worked my ass off and was an a honor roll student who graduated from high school with honors and was accepted to a prestigious university. Now I’m 19 and single, and yes it makes it hard. I spent most of my younger and teen years studying and having little to no social life so therefore I’m shy and awkward. Plus in the past for me in dating guys it’s hard to distinguish from less intelligent and just lazy. But as someone who spent years of putting my education first based on the pushing of a parent I would say it certainly has affected it. I have little to no social skills and have never been in a serious relationship and I’m still a virgin. The last couple guys I’ve had feelings for only wanted to have sex so yeah that’s my current problem. I’m almost 20 I’m not ready for anything too serious but I want something special and I’m so lonely it’s unreal. My anxiety has made it difficult to talk to people and my past has made me scared of being hurt or rejected. Long story short it has made things harder for me.

I am Autistic, and need someone to be as intelligent or more intelligent than me. Most of my relationships have been with intelligent men. I have dated less intelligent but the relationship never lasts. Conversation dries up. I need more than 3 word sentences. And to answer you, no, I don’t find it difficult finding these types of men.

I’m not going to lie but I’ve been single for little over 3 years now. Have been in a couple flings but no label on them. I work in a male dominated field and some guys don’t like that. I also have a masters degree which can scare off some other guys. I did ask this guy out that I used to work with but he didn’t say yes nor did he say no. So maybe if the dating apps don’t work out for him he will reach out.

No, but I don't consider myself as super duper intelligent.
Lot of "Intelligent women" might be not so intelligent as they think. Intelligence means adaptation too and they seem to be incapable to adopt themselves in environment that surrounds them. They expect the world has to turn according their rules, this will never happen.

That's a good question but to be quit honest with you I guess it just depends on the situation and stuff. Ifeel like I am more intelligent then any man I have ever Laid down with but see I am not only educated in the streets I'm also into the books also.

Intelligent women find dating harder not because they aren't willing to date less intelligent men. Its because men tend to be intimidated by intelligent women. Men are too egotistical to handle someone smarter than them.

I can only speak from my own experience and in my case it wasn't difficult at all to find a man for me. If anything I didn't have to look because my man found me first.

Yes I’m an engineer and doing my degree at the same time. They end up intimidated and it’s hard to find intelligent men.
