What to do when he says he has reservations?

I’ve been dating someone for just over a month and things were going really well. He recently pulled away after we had a disagreement where I told him other men treat me better than him. After a few days of being cold, he texted me trying to initiate small talk but I was short with him. I ended up telling him my feelings were hurt by how cold he was acting and I asked him whether he was in or out. He said it’s not that simple and that he still wants to get to know me but he has “reservations” … I told him I’ll take that as we’re both out. He asked if I didn’t want to talk to him at all anymore and I told him I did not. Is there a way to get him to come back around and be all in? I really was falling for this guy.

It is over. Move-on as some words will not be forgotten and those are ones. At best, you are second option and he will not mind dragging you through the mud after your comments and reaction. You are playing the wrong version of "hard to get".

'I told him other men treat me better than him'

My first thought would be... then be with those other men. The guys only issue is he hasn't yet fully learned how to walk away, or he just wants to keep a few additional options open.
