I dont think its an issue or at least its not as big of a deal as some people make it out to be. Some people think its the worst thing ever but Im pretty sure you can take medication and if you manage it properly both partners won't have a serious issue even if its given to the other person.

I'm just surprised how many girls tell me I should, even girls say not to date someone short or broke but they would date someone with herpes

God Catholic girl, the only partner I ever had is my husband. I think as a woman you've git to recognise that promiscuous sex leads to unwanted pregnancy and stds. And I wanted to get married rather than waste my time with guys after only one thing.

I dated a lady over ten years ago who had herpes. She was on the medication to keep it controlled and she never had an active outbreak while we were dating. And when we had sex, I wore a condom. It really wasn't an issue for me.
