Yes, there are a couple that I think about usually at this time of year. During the holidays , everyone reconnects so the friends of friends bring back recollections and discussions about old Friends. It is very normal for this time of the year.

What did you learn from all of this?

Every billion years I will think about some girl I used to crush on ages ago, but not in a sense of thinking how different life would be if we actually did hit it off. I tend to think about them like 'Oh yeah, I remember her, it's been so long' and wonder what she's doing now, where she is, if she got married, has kids, etc. But no longing for them.

Youthful crushes for me always stay in the past.

100%. Especially looking back at old texts. But now I can see that my crush has changed. He has new friends which changed his personality completely, before he was shy and sweet but now he is more confident and even slightly rude. Moral of the story, try not to look at the past, but at the future.
