No I don't get upset mostly because this actually happened to me in my freshman year of high school my guy best friend texted me after school ended that day and he told me that he had feelings for me and I thought it was sweet but I just wasn't interested in him in that way so I told him I'd rather just stick to being his friend plus I actually had a crush on his best friend who was also my friend and is now my boyfriend
It depends on whether or not I fancy my friend. If I do, I’m thrilled. If I don’t, I’m mildly grossed out and irritated. Maybe amused too, if the guy is desperate.
Would you continue being friends with him?
Yes, I would.
What annoys us is when guys won’t take no for an answer after the third time of hitting on us when we’ve said no.
You know, most women respect it if a guy hits on her and takes it as a compliment, even if it is a friend and she’s not keen. Don’t worry so much. I’m sure you did nothing wrong. You just had the guts to approach women you like. Good for you 😊👍
I don't have a TON of experience with this. But I've never found it upsetting.
What I did find upsetting was when they turned into assholes after getting turned down.
That’s not cool on the guy. He should accept it and move on.
Agreed. And most do. But when they don't it gets real ugly.
No I just blatantly tell them no I don't like you like that. We still remain friends.
