Why did I dream about snuggling up with the girl I like in bed?

I had this dream of cuddling the girl I like. There has been some awkwardness between us for no reason in real life. She is acting quieter towards me in comparison to other guys/girls.

She is still starting conversations with me. For example she said to me at the bar " what are you drinking?" Or the other thing was " did it just get louder in here?".

There has been some moments we locked eyes and I felt drawn to her and I could tell she wanted to say something to me. She does end up saying something small to me. The only thing is she still acts quiet towards me in between, almost like ignoring me which makes me think she hates me
