Can you explain why? I don't think that if a guy is actively chasing women and doing the work is guaranteed he will be forever alone too, his odds should be way better than the shy man.

I didn't say "guaranteed" I said "odds are". All I meant by that is you can ask a 1000 women out and get rejected by every one of them if they're not interested. It doesn't matter how much work he puts in. This is he has to read the signs and know that a lot of women are flaky and fickle and don't even know what they themselves think half the time.

My advice to this guy is give effort to women that give effort to you and ignore the rest.
