What should I do about her?

Ok, I have this girl who is a friend that I like, but she lives in Newyork, and I live in FL. I'm trying to move back to NY cause I like her, but after she got a job, she stopped texting me. When she was broke, I helped her with money, moral support, etc. After she got her dream job, she started texting less. Also, I think we both asked each other out subliminally, and both accidentally broke each other's heart. So I want to make things right. After the subliminal heartbreak, we are still friends, but I truly want to be with her. But she doesn't hit me up anymore, and I'm tired of always texting first. Should I just give up?
