Is it easier to sweep girls off their feet from across the world as a western man or is it only me?

I said “other side of the world” because I don’t want to stereotype anybody. I have just noticed that whenever I say my jokes to a girl from another part of the world, she laughs and likes me more than other western girls. For instance, the joke I said sarcastically was “oh, you must love the United States.” And she laughed, “oh, I love it. Yes.” But it was obviously a joke because she was Muslim so she actually hates it. She softened her voice as I made her laugh more and more but I didn’t overdo it. She just seemed to enjoy my company a lot.
My curiosity is that if it’s only because of me? Is it something about me? Or is it just western men are desired more so on the other side of the world? Because this is not a unique case for me. It has happened over and over again repeatedly throughout my dating life.

Bit of everything perhaps? Of course getting to be a rarity makes dating easier. That's just reality of it all.

Having some obvious differences can absolutely smooth out flirting and lead to things feeling more interesting.

And while less likely it is also possible that the different cultures or expectations are helping one or both of you.

My guess? It is the novelty, both ways. It keeps people on their toes which makes them more active and engaging which, unsurprisingly, makes them more interesting and successful. Positive feedback loop. Could try dating women from your part of the world with the same level of inquisitive nature from both of you and see if it feels similar. Hard to really control for a test of course.
