That’s a bit of an over exaggeration. It can happen to some very unlucky souls but for the most part women in those areas are legitimately looking to settle down with a normal man. One of my friends on the Autism spectrum is happily married to a Chinese woman. They met when he went there overseas. I’m a lot more optimistic on this.

That’s awesome for your friend. For every fairy tale story, there seems to be a dozen wolves in sheep's clothing. Scammers have gotten pretty crafty, and they’re only increasing, and they've set their sights on the lonely. I'm all for international love, but it's worth remembering to be careful and maybe do a bit of detective work before you pack your bags.

My point in the post was that the main problem is that women in the US tend to be a lot more picky about things like looks and height on a man, but women from other countries like Vietnam and the Philippines usually overlook things like that.
