I’m worried bc I feel that I’m afraid of getting into a relationship. I reject a lot of guys I’m picky too why is this?

There’s a difference of having high standards and being picky.


There will come a time where you like spending time with someone, you really enjoy the company and you don’t want to leave them and can’t wait to see them again, the fact you find this person attractive will add to this but this ingredient will not be all you like about the person.

it's because you are 19... at 19 you are coming up on your prime physicallly, so you are essentially keeping your cards close to your chest... when you are older... you will feel that time is slipping away and be more decisive. there is no need to rush anything at this age. its not insecurity... its options and the less guys you choose to be with... the more value you preserve for your future guy...

I don’t want to make the wrong decision either bc I have a habit of picking wrong people to like the player guys so annoying I get sucked into that somehow some guys initiate things first than I go along with it give them the benefit of the doubt then right when I feel like I’m getting close to making something out of it thinking they like me I like them they screw me over so I don't know I’m just really picky bc I don’t want to go for the wrong person and keep getting hurt. I get upset over people I never even dated bc the way they make me feel then drop me so I don't know what’s going wrong. That’s the sign to stick to myself I’m content in who I am now so that’s what I’m going to try to do

I’m the future when I marry someone that’s an if.. if I ever find someone I don’t want my family splitting up if there’s kids involved I don’t want my kids to go through split up stuff so I’m trying to choose wisely when the time comes and I am ready. I think guys come for me when I’m not ready then I feel bad when I have to shut them down some of it is out of fear but some of it bc I don’t want to date bc I’m not ready I don’t have my life together yet I feel like that needs to be done first

That’s true. I have rejected some attractive men. The one guy for example he asked me to go get food on Saturday Friday night he was over swimming with my friends I guess he had such a fun time seemed like he liked me and wanted to go out but I was so tired out to do anything had a long day that day but the next day then I said how I wanted to go but I’m just tired so didn’t end up going I kinda was being cautious too bc I don't know what people have up their sleeve if they’re going to do anything suspicious or not but I said no in a nice way but I said another time since I was tied he said “I guess it’s a no lol” I think he didn’t take that too well i felt guilty for saying no bc at the same time I wanted to just couldn’t get myself to go

I’m afraid for them to see the real me I don’t try to be weird or annoying or anything but some of ways I don't know how they can react to that. I’m talking about how I think, how I view things. Most guys want to sleep around too I don’t want to just do that so I’m afraid that they will want to do that I’m not ready for it

I agree.. I swear no man is taught the right way on how to treat a woman. They ghost too why can’t people be straight up and say this isn’t working I wouldn’t be mad at that bc if I know what’s going on it’s easier to move on.. All they care about is sleeping around, but where does that get them? No where bc women are treated like objects which isn’t fair it’s not easy being a woman for that reason
