How common do you meet crazy or mentality unstable girlfriends? I hear lot of these ex's from friends and coworkers?

I read and heard stories about crazy ex's but how true is that? Is it common for one of your ex's to be unhinged?

It's all in your power, it depends on how you select women. If you just pick a random one because she is attractive, well, that for sure won't grant you she is mature, has relationship skills and communication skills, or good moral values.
If you select women over these things you'll end up in a most likely healthy relationship (as long as you provide the same level of skills, though, pretty sure all those women weren't crazy by default but part of them were for sure brought to desperation, I doubt all of your coworkers were experts in relationships, so there is always your side to take in account too).
Among my exes (guys) 2 of them were unhinged and probably still are with their current partners (I don't know but I'd think so), I was much younger and definitely didn't select partners carefully. My current partner is way more selected, I'm satisfied of the "lack" of many problematic traits.

Of course it happens. I have been stalked, been called a freak, etc. by exes and I guess put a few of them in the unstable or “crazy” category. However I don’t really think they are unstable, they were just not compatible with me. I think people tend to call their exes crazy when things didn’t work out

I had broken up with a long time girlfriend. A few weeks later I met someone in a bar. She wad the bartender. It was the day after Christmas and I was pretty lonely . I went back the next night and after her shift I walked her to her car and asked her to dinner.

She was the opposite of my ex girlfriend and maybe that was the idea. We had lots of fun but her life revolved around drinking and partying. She used to go a little crazy ans sometimes she could be abusive. She was abused as a kid by her parents and brother. I just tried to be kind to her. Some nights we would just talk about all the crap She had to deal with as a kid. I really wanted to fix her I guess. One day she just went off the deep end. She stopped returning my calls so I drove to her place and her roommate said she moved out and was living with friends. I think they kicked her out I moved a few weeks after that and never heard from her again.
