I met a guy 3 weeks ago, as it was Christmas I wasn’t in the area and then went away on holiday so we’ve been unable to meet up. We’ve spoken everyday and he’s been very attentive. Whilst I was away on holiday we spoke about going for drinks the weekend I’m back. My problem is he knows I am back but has yet to arrange anything with me. Am I wasting my time?

This is not a problem as much as it is an opportunity. You should refocus your thinking. You two have been trying to make plans and communicating through difficulties over 3 week period.

Everyone is on the same page. Now, back off and wait. See if he will do what was discussed without you buttoning in and trying to influence.

Since you believe you are doing well, it probably will not develop into anything. However, there is no harm in calling him up and asking him to meet you at some club for drinks. Or ask him if he would like to meet you at a restaurant for coffee. Most likely he will accept, but if he doesn't or if he does and doesn't call you back, you will know. Regardless, you should keep your options open. That way you will not be wasting your time.
