A couple months ago he asked me out for coffee but there has never been a date till today. At that time he got sick but I don‘t think his illness lasted so many months.
but I can say for sure that at that time I think he was never really interested because he only wrote from time to time, only replying to my stories. Maybe he was not ready for a relationship and wanted me as a backup for the time he would be ready. I don‘t know
As of today, This guy keeps often texting me and always finds the lamest excuses to do so, Not onyl replying to my stories. Keeping the conversation going, asking questions, replying really fast , making compliments and so on. I‘m more passive, writing only 1-2 times when he writes 7-8 times.
I went to a bar and he asked me where it was and when I would be going again. Then he said that he knows me well and that I would not call him the next time I went again. I then said that I am going to write him the next time and he said everytime you want.
now what I dont understand: I‘m really sure he still knows about the coffee date. Why wanting me to ask him out even though he asked me out for coffee and I said yes. I mean he could just mention the coffee date and we would go out on a date.
So simple.
what should I do? I‘m more thinking of not asking him because if he says no I will be really angry at myself for asking.
