How should I interpret this text I got from him?

Ok so I hung out with my shy guy friend and his friends last night. Im in his town for a few days. When we all said goodbye he gave me a long hug and I told him to text me tomorrow if he wanted to hang out to which he replied ”absolutely”. So now I got a text from him saying ”Hey thanks for last night! Did you get home alright? It was really nice seeing you 🙂”

How should I interpret this? Does he wanna see again me or not? Maybe he is just being polite?

It can be so hard to read into guys' texts sometimes. But from my experience, when a guy says "thanks for last night" and asks if you got home okay, it usually means he had a good time and wants to hang out again.

Personally, I always take it as a good sign when a guy texts me the day after we hang out. It shows that he's thinking about me and wants to make sure I got home safe. Plus, him saying "it was really nice seeing you" gives off a vibe that he'd like to see you again.

But, of course, you never know for sure until you ask. So, if you're feeling brave, you could always ask him if he wants to hang out again. But if you're not ready for that, just keep being friendly and see where things go.

It seems like he is trying to be nice and subtle in his reaction to your hangout. Maybe he's guaging your feelings? Try to be sweet and flirt back. It could work out well

Respond to him. He may or may not like you as a girlfriend. He might like you as a friend. Guys can have girls as friends too. So reply like you would any other person. It's called RESPECT!
