Do I have to be actively dating and/or on dating apps in order to find the love of my life, or does it happen just randomly when you’re not?

Can I just not use dating apps and instead just if I’m out there living my life I’ll meet the person? I find that nonstop dates from apps is stressful and not leading me to results I want. Does someone have to be out there like actively dating at all times to find the person?
