Do I start an argument for him basically standing me up?

I’ve been seeing this guy like 3 weeks so it’s early days and today he’s really making me wait agies. He told me he’d be free in like an hour or so and it’s been 2 hours. I know he’s at the garage getting something done to his car and some work thing but it’s getting to me that he hasn’t let me know yet. He told me he’d ring me back an hour ago and it’s been like 2 hours. The thing is I KNOW he’s busy but the principle is that he always puts work before me but I understand as I’m not a priority but I’m worried is would happen in the future. Do I message him and have a go at him or just message him and say something like I’m ready now? I’ve been waiting 2 hours and haven’t said anything. I don’t wanna blow up his phone while he’s clearly doing something. This was his plan and he booked something and I’m sat here waiting. I don’t know if to just send a calm collected message saying ‘hope ur okay I’ll see u another day’ or to just argue but is that pointless if i know he’s actually busy and got caught up.

You aren't a priority NOW. It isn't a sign of bad things to happen in the future. It's too early for you to be more important to him than his work. I would send a text to let him know you're ready. It's not blowing up his phone or anything bad to send a message. Maybe he got caught up in his work and didn't realize how much time has passed.

Yeah 100% that’s why I’ve just decided to text him and say ‘I’ve been waiting a while hope you’re okay we can do a different day if it’s easier’ I agree with you I’m not gonna be a priority yet as it’s not even been 1 month. I’m just worried this will happen all the time.

It won't when you're clearly more than a fling. My girlfriend wasn't a priority for a few months.

Everyone really likes someone at the beginning. But you can really like a fling until it's over. Make it a month and if he's still heavily prioritizing work, you may need to reexamine your relationship, but I don't recall talking to my girlfriend for several weeks at the very beginning of our relationship. Obviously we talked on our dates, but I mean outside of the dates

Hmm, is it just this one time? Sometimes when you fix a car something else breaks and it takes longer. To your point though, he should not have kept you waiting. Especially, not updating you.
