Is dating dangerous?

I contend that for men it is very dangerous. Once false accusation and you are toast. Women do not have your best interests in mind at all.

yes for both, and probably, all 59 genders (according to state of CA). It's dangerous because you are going to trust another person (a wounded flawed and limited human) and that alone takes vulnerability... which means we can be hurt terribly.

Thus we recognize our desires, but take actions to mitigate our risks. I made analogy of flying an airplane. With no training for the pilot, it's guaranteed catastrophic failure. With a little training, it's still very risky, wouldn't fly with them. With sufficient training and practice, it's more safe than driving a car and opens up the world of experiences if not outer space.

Pain and fear are there to protect us from dangers, they build walls to prevent us from hurting ourselves... because survival in this world, from a physical viewpoint, is #1. It's a physical world... die, and we're done. Being cast out can feel as bad, separation is the root issue.

If you take a higher level of viewpoint, be it religious and such, where the big issues of life are put into perspective, then you live your life to a different mission. Fear, shame, and other such emotions being dealt with and replaced by love, hope, faith... that leaps over the damage, so you can live your fuller life. You are reaching out with good energy. People respond to that.

Belief thus, is the barrier and as well, the cure to set one free of "chains" placed upon them by the physical world. Science... is in essence, chains... it cannot solve the problem humans face.

Everything has risk. Some leaps are worth it and pay eternal rewards...

Dating is very dangerous for a man. The slightest thing a man does to displease a woman (knowingly or unknowingly) and she immediately takes to social media to slander him. And, yes, false accusations do seem to be in vogue these days.

It is dangerous for women because there is certain limit of time we can waste
A women can not randomly date as a dude form 20 to 50 no they need to give birth and have families within a certain age. ( for those who wish to give both ofc)
But some men waste women life and precious years… so that’s very dangerous for a women!

What’s dangerous for men is falling in love with creepy women who can put their life and career in danger. Like accusing them for rape , violence etc not all women lie I’m sure they don’t lie randomly lien this but I know some will and have lied just cause they hate this men, because they can’t let it go and take advantage by being a victim easily.
So men have to like old traditional women to be safe it’s hard to find them but work your balls off god didn’t give it or you for nothing lol.

True there are dangers to dating but nevertheless I wouldn´t consider dating all in all dangerous. Because most accussations that are really dangerous to a guy are connected to having sex with her. So I don´t have sex until I fully trust her.
Therefore I wouldn´t say that dating is dangerous it just can be dangerous if you choose the wrong partner. I´m no expert but I never had dangerous situations in dating and I just think that just talking about the problems and dangers doesn´t make dating or finding a partner ever a good thing. A person that always looks at the bad sides has it way harder to see the good sides of anything.

Definitely, I think more so for men, you get falsely accused, go to prison, life ruined, you get beat and raped in prison, even when you are found innocent, your life is still ruined, can't really retaliate without looking like the bad guy, so you probably just end up killing yourself. I'd rather be just murdered by a date then have any of that happen. But I'm lucky because I'm too ugly no girl ever wanted to date me.

Yes but for women. Society teaches women to be subservient to men. We’re expected to be their mommies by cooking and cleaning up after them while working. Men expect way too much: first women have to be pretty, then she have to be emotionally available, while also not being too confident or assertive. Be the opposite and we’re seen as masculine or difficult. We have to be submissive and ready to drop everything to have a kid and stay home while men continue to do what they always do. Women are also expected to be a certain age, vulva has to looks a certain way, certain weight, can’t have a high body count (more than 6-8 sex partners). Etc.

Women ask for the bare minimum yet are told we’re the unrealistic ones

I think the risk of false accusations is very unlikely for men especially if you part ways peacefully instead of doing horrible things to the girl. The risk does go up quite a bit if she is your sugar baby though, because the relationship is naturally more transactional and less about love. Sugar daddies should worry more about this than regular men.

Women do face a good deal of danger as well with men who may beat them or take advantage of them, crazy suicidal men who take them out of this world before themselves when they can't handle breakup. Rapists too. Much like driving, there is risk involved but we still do it

Well when you look at it like that, the worst case scenario for women is actually getting raped or straight up murdered.
Also as a guy, you're still more likely to get actually raped than be falsely accused.
