Assume that the extrovert is this bubbly guy, who is always cracking jokes, who likes talking and socializing with pretty much everyone and is a real party animal. Someone who goes nuts on the dancefloor and has a ton of energy. Someone who always wants to be busy.
Assume that the introvert is not shy or awkward, but just seems to be a bit more reserved when it comes to social activities. Like instead of clubbing and festivals, he'd prefer restaurants, theaters etc. Generally being more focussed on himself, with a calm demeanor, but has a sense of humor when opened up to you.
Assume they're both confident
Also please write down in the comment what you voted, and what you yourself identify as. Either as an introvert or an extrovert. I am asking this question because I am curious about whether opposites really attract in some things. It would seem really counterintuitive with things like this.
What Girls Said
With your definitions the introvert. I’m an ambivert but I’m shy and have no interest in partying. Introverts,, by the true definition, need more alone time and I find such people annoying, I love spending lots of time together with the person I’m dating (or am friends with) for long periods of time each time and introverts just can’t take it. One of my exes was an introvert and with that he needed lots of time to himself and that’s a no for me. I won’t date a guy like that again. I also feel like I wouldn’t do well with a true extrovert who needed to be around lots of people all the time as I’m so shy. I’d prefer an ambivert like myself.
An introvert. Extroverts can get annoying.
