Where are the guys who are into long term relationships?

I’ve been social media lately and I am seeing a bunch of other women in my age bracket pondering the same thing I am…where are the good guys at that want a relationship? It seems like most guys we encounter are looking for situationships, entanglements all the sorts. Where are y'all hanging out 👀?

Well, in your age range, often the men discover they now have clout (financial and otherwise, not just $$$ but also experiences, wit, status, etc), they now have options and can pursue younger women.

I hate to be brutal, but did a younger you turn down such men when you both were younger? If you didn't, then take no offense, but I am reminded of a famous Craigslist Personals rant, which another guy on GAG posted earlier:

Soooo im 39 and in my city it’s been like this for thee longest while where the majority of the guys aren’t into long term relationships. I’ve had work colleagues in my “younger years” just ask to hookup…classmates who were just wanting to sit in the park and have drinks.. I have not entertained any of that. Even on dating apps for my city sure I get matches but the convos with the guys are they aren’t looking for anything serious…and other females echo the same thing as well….

I don't think the good guys all hangout in the same place. 🤔 I just know, when I was single, I wasn't interested in any one night stands, nor was I interested in going to the bar unless my friends dragged me out, and even then I wasn't there to meet women.

My shortest relationship - 2 years. The longest - 21 years.

At your age, a lot of the guys are simply burnt out by prior dating failures or they were never interested in long term entanglements.

I have to admit that I have a really hard time getting excited about tying myself to one woman longer term, when I see all the insanity that happens in people's relationships; it's just a scary proposition. And I would definitely consider myself a commitment-oriented man. I'm 30.

Long term relationships? that's only worth while with women that haven't been involved in hookup culture... otherwise there is no reason to bother period...

I don't think women overall will ever truly understand this fact, or even want to. But that's fine. I walked away decades ago!

In your age range. People have been through relationships. Maybe several. Possibly some have gotten burned pretty badly and don’t want a repeat !
There is no one place to look Just keep your eyes open and don’t let your wall blind you to finding a great guy. There are some left out there, somewhere!
