Like say I want to take my girl over to a McDonald's, a Taco Bell, a Del Taco, a Chick-fil-A, a Wendy's, or even a Carl's Jr or Hooters

Is the fast food restaurant the date or is the main date something else and you decided to go eat something? I wouldn't like a date to be a fast food restaurant not because of money but because of the authmosphere. But if the date was something like walking true a park or whatever and it was ok going to eat something after seems ok when its fast food. Even better would be streetfood which technically is fast food too.

I would be fine with it if it wasn’t the first date. I might be a tiny bit judgy if this was given as a first impression.

I think a lot of it is the vibe and where you are in your relationship. Like, if you've just finished a movie and you're like "I really want some Taco Bell and a Mountain Dew, are you game?" that's one thing. But if you're like all serious and ask her formally, "Would you join me at McDonald's for dinner on Saturday night" it's weird. So context matters. But not every date has to be white tablecloths and fine dining.
