I’m using bumble to see where things can go even though I know realistically I shouldn’t expect much from online, I just don’t wanna look back as if I didn’t try. I don’t really go out much besides work, to the store, or sometimes my friends houses since I don’t like to party or go to clubs or bars.

Many people try online dating without reading any advice. They think it is just like traditonal dating, but the initial stages with online datng are very different. So they create a poor profile and don't respond well if thet get messages, it doesn't work, and they blame the dating site instead of blaming themselves.

I guess dating apps can get you out there and possibly meet people you may never had the chance to meet in your everyday life. However, I'm of the opinion you have a better chance of meeting someone in your everyday routine, whether it be via your circle of friends or your family.

Why not try one of the better dating sites.
The ones you have to pay to join. E Harmony, It's just lunch, sites like that.
They tend to be more selective on who they choose as members, if someone is an asshat they can be reported and have their membership revoked, less people just looking to hook up and most members are looking to be in a relationship.
It might be worth a look.

Dating apps are OK if you treat them with the respect they deserve. They're mostly just for entertainment. Treat everything that women say on thier with a grain of salt and with every woman you meet chase with a shot of penicillin and you'll do just fine. That's my philosophy.
