He’s shorter than me, is that why he won’t approach me?

This guy has been eyeing me for such a long time. Because of that i began to notice him, He’s shown signs of liking me so many times. His friends always laugh and cheese and whisper to him whenever we are near each other and to me that’s a dead giveaway that he feels something towards me. But i don’t think he knows that i like him back. I actually like him a lot. But i think maybe he’s scared to approach me because of my height. I’m 5’7. What should i do?

You already strongly suspect that he likes you.
Therefore, there is no real downside to approaching him - he won't reject you.

Now, I want to mention something else...
At 5' 7", you may be slightly taller than the average for women, but that's not substantial.
If he is shorter than you, then he is significantly shorter than the average male.

But, more importantly, if a guy can deal with the height difference with you, then he is insecure.
Women want and crave security.
In short, pardon the pun, he's not worthy of you then.

So, one of two things will happen:
1. He will be happy you approached him and, congrats!, you have a new boyfriend.
2. He rejects you solely on height (he's not going to reject you otherwise). In that case, he did you a favor - he's telling you he's not worthy of you and he's not going to waste your time.
