Essentially. But it's important you don't break character so she knows you really mean it. If she gets mad get more apologetic. Tell her there's a guy out there for her it's just not you unfortunately and in time she'll get over you. You'd he surprised how many women will actually get mad over being dumped by a guy they were actually never really dating. It actually goes to show how critical ego is to a lot of women.
