DILEMMA WITH GIRLFRIED, IS THE BOYFRIEND EXPECTED TO PAY FOR ALL HER EXPENSES, NOT TALKING JUST DATE NIGHT, BUT HER GENERAL SHOPPING SUCH AS MAKE UP?

Hi, so I have a girlfriend. I have always expected myself to pay whenever we go out together to get takeaway or go out to eat or do activities together such as cinema, arcade etc which I usually do. However, she also expects me to pay for her personal expenses, for example everytime we are together and she goes to a supermarket to get herself make up and skincare which is usually once or twice a month, she expects me to pay. I believe, unless I have offered to pay, then she should not expect me to pay and expect herself to pay because they are her expenses after all. If I would like to pay for it then I should, but if I don't then I don't and it shouldn't be used against me. If I decide to treat her, that should be up to me, but if I don't then I don't. If I decide to take her shopping then I pay, but if she wants to go shopping for herself then she should intend to pay unless I feel like paying. Obviously I understand certain situations where I would be expected to pay for her shopping such as a special occasion such as birthday. But this is more to do with everyday occasions.
