Is it okay to date a guy who still live with his parents?

This guy I’m into is 27 and still live with his parents. He used to live in an apartment in another city but I can’t remember how long ago that was. He is the manager at his job for about a year and a half and makes like 20+ an hour and stays overtime almost everyday so I don’t know what he does with all the money he makes.

Him living with his parents is one of the best way to have an easy life later on (assuming he's saving enough of it). But in answer to your question I'd say no. Because he should be focusing on saving that money, not spending it on dating you. Dating is one of the biggest money wasters that can impact a guy later on in life.

He is just financially more wealthier then most people who live in apartments. If he pays for his shit, gives rent money to parents, then why is that a problem? He probably doesn't find the reason of living with other people who he doesn't know. If he dates a girl who is ready to move in a apartment with him then he shouldn't hesitate in moving out. As long as he can afford it.

It really depends on why. Multigenerational houses are only looked down upon in America. There's living with your parents, then there's living OFF OF your parents. See the distinction? Real easy to find out. Ask about his future plans, his aspirations and ask follow up questions on what he doing to actively achieve them (and not in a grilling, interview sort of way).

Date to find out? I mean if he is making money and living with his parents maybe it's saving him like I don't know at least 1500$ every month on rent.
