Should I ask permission from my parents to hang out with a guy?

He’s almost my boyfriend but not quite yet. We talk on the phone every night and he always text me. I want to go see him but my father says I shouldn’t be involved because I need to focus on school. He also doesn’t agree about the age difference. Well, I’ve already went behind my parents back to see him and they don’t know that.

Should I just let him pick me up at my house on Sunday to see me or should I just go by the rules of my parents. I am not going to sleep with him by the way or anything sexual like that. I just wanna watch a movie with him but I know my dad won’t let me.

Well if you trust the guy, If you have any female friends that can help you as you saying you want to go to your friend house and he picks you up from there and you guys chill.
