When to make it official?

When is too soon to make it official? I really don’t want to move too fast or take things too fast. So going slow is my priority but I also don’t want the relationship to dwindle out. When should two people make things official?

I am a slow mover and I am going to be around her family multiple times before I will make it official. The difference between me and most id once I know I can like you, I will lay my Expectations out plainly.

One of those Expectations is lots of time around her family. At least one 4th quarter holiday season. How she interacts with family tells you everything you will be living with. Serious relationship is around that 5-6 month period. Exclusive dating determination occurs within a month for me.

I'm old fashioned, so I feel it's the guy's responsibility to read the room and ask her to be his girl when the time is right.
Other than that I think a month or two is more than enough time in most cases.
It widely depends on the relationship. How often you see eachother, what you do when you're together, blah blah blah
