Why would a girl watch my Instagram stories but not text back?

There’s this girl I like that always watches my Instagram stories, never missing one, but doesn’t text back. What would be a reason she does this? I’ve recently divorced so I’m just getting back into dating and new to social media, so I need some advice.

Whether she is an Ex or a Crush the reason is likely the same for why she watches but does not respond. She is likely shy and thinks she is announcing her interest by hitting your page. It is not like you can't see it and if you were interested then you would make the first move.

To me, she is expecting you to man-up and take charge. You should anyway and then you will end the BS and unnecessary mystery here. You could be letting a good thing get away over your indecision. C'mon now...
