Is there any reason why my sister lies about talking to my boyfriend?

My sister keeps talking to my boyfriend and they hang out. He comes to me and tells me what all they did. He even mentioned that they had lunch together one day. Whenever I ask her did she talk to or see my boyfriend today, she says no she doesn’t talk to or see him. My boyfriend is confused and doesn’t understand why she is lying to me.

Yeah possible. I guess it depends upon your relationship and your sister's character. You know that better than I so I am guessing on limited information and experience. If you were close and this was innocent then she would mention that she ran into him etc.

If you are competitive and have always been so then this explain much. It is likely that she wants to win and take what you have. Furthermore, if you are the successful one or pretty one that everyone knows about then stealing your man is a way to put you in your place... take you down a notch or two.

Some women are alpha and simply want to dominate the man and the sister. Once she knows that she can have him then some women kick him to the curve and rub it in your face... like exactly in your face where you can feel her breathe. Women are brutal abbot this kind of thing.

Umm. It’s weird to me that he’d have lunch with your sister without you. That is a red flag to me.


I mean one possible explanation is that she has feelings for him. And she’s trying to get with him. He shouldn’t even be entertaining that. I’d never hang out with just my girlfriends sister without my girlfriend there too. It’s either together or not at all.


I get that maybe your boyfriend is trying to be nice to your family. But it’s ok for him to set limits. Healthy and good even for him to set limits. He should be nice and respectful to your family, but that doesn’t mean he has to go to lunch with your sister alone.

It would help if I knew what your sister looks like. Perhaps you could send me some pictures? Maybe in a bikini or whatever she wears to bed?
