Are we going too fast?

So, I've known this guy since November, so it's been almost 4 months. He asked me to be his girlfriend a week ago, and we are already super close. He calls me love, and showers me with compliments, or gives me little gifts. He is very very affectionate and is pretty cuddly. We've already had our first kiss, and it hasn't stopped there.

Is he just an affectionate guy, and we click? Or are we going way too fast?

I think that's an okay time actually. Me and mine only got together after 6 months, not too far off. Many people jump into a relationship after a week or two I think that's too early. 4 months is a good time.
